map. Once on the map click on "Directions" and enter where you are departing from in
"A". The map will spit out directions specific to you!
- Take
the N4 highway towards Witbank/Nelspruit (or the N17 from Johannesburg)
and travel through Witbank, Belfast & Machadodorp.
- The turn-off to Waterval Boven is approximately 9km from Machadodorp on the N4 East, just after a steep hill.
- Follow the road, passing underneath the railroad bridge, into the town.
- Pass the 1st stop street and the library on the right to the 2nd stop street.
- Turn right at the 2nd stop street, eventually passing the hospital and then the entrance to Elandskrans resort.
- At
this point the road becomes a gravel road. Cross the cement bridge +-
500m from Elandskrans. (Total distance from N4 is +- 5km)
- Homestead
Lodge: Turn right into the stone gate +-200 metres after the bridge at
the Troutways sign and follow the road over the dam wall to the 1st
house on the left.
- Guinea
Fowl Lodge: Carry on pass the Homestead stone stone gate and turn right
at the first small farm road. Turn right again at the first gate to the
right. Follow the road over the hill to Guinea Fowl Lodge.
- Please close all gates behind you if they are closed upon arrival.
- Parts of the farm gravel roads are very rocky so drive carefully and slowly
