- Right of admission reserved.
- A 50% payment of the total booking is required within 5 days of confirmation of booking, otherwise
the booking will automatically be cancelled.
- Ful payment to be reflected in bank account prior to arrival. No credit card machine available and no cheques will be accepted.
- Proof of payment must be faxed to (011) 397-1536 or emailed to admin@troutways.co.za
- Refundable breakage deposit of R500.00 per unit -payable prior to arrival-refunded two days after departure.
- Cancellation Policy
- 30 days prior to arrival: 50% deposit will be refunded
- 14 days prior to arrival: No refund
- Only fly-fishing is permitted. Please do not be tempted to use any
kind of bait, spinners or other devices. Persons caught not adhering to
this rule will be charged R200/kg for the entire party’s catch and will
be asked to leave the farm without refunding.
- Please remove the barbs from your hooks. It takes a little more
skill but makes it easier to "Catch and Release". Do not return damaged
fish
under any circumstances. Please kill fish that you plan to take
immediately. Fish taken will be charged at the current rate.
- All fish caught must be recorded in the log book in your lodge or at the gate so that we may keep a proper record and ensure good catches in your future visits.
- Please clean fish outdoors and be carefull not to clog the drains.
Consider that septic tanks are used and do not put any disinfectants
into the toilets.
- Please don't litter. In particular, take care not to let hooks lying around which could hurt animals or children.
- Please keep an eye on your children. They should not swim in the dams.
- Children are not allowed in the canoe without adult supervision.
Lifejackets are available from the farm workers and must be worn by all
at all times whilst using the canoe.
- Please fill in the Visitors Book.
- Families come here to enjoy the peace and tranquility. Please act accordingly.
- No smoking inside the buildings.
- Departure time is 2:00pm.
- Troutways is not free from the potential hazards found on any farm. Neither the owner, nor any of his
assistants will be held responsible in any manner for the safety of guests or their belongings when visiting the farm.
- Unfortunately pets are not allowed as there are animals on the farm.
